MS Program Admissions Procedure
Stony Brook uses on-line applications for all graduate programs. Apply at https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=sunysb-gs.
Although we will consider an application file at any time and we do not have a deadline, it will be to your advantage to apply by February 1 if you want to begin your studies in the fall.
As part of the application process you will need to provide:

Two sets of official transcripts of undergraduate and (if applicable) graduate course work to be mailed to:

If your native language is not English, then you must submit official English language test scores. Accepted tests include the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Test of Spoken English (TSE). An overall Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) score of 80 or higher is required for admission.

Three letters of recommendation.
- A non-refundable application fee* of $100.
*International students receiving a B.S. degree from an accredited U.S. college/university qualify for a fee waiver.
