The research in our laboratory focuses on understanding the relationship between protein structure and protein function and synthesizing chemical tools to probe and control biological function. Work is ongoing in four different areas:

1) Steroid Degradation Pathways in M. tuberculosis
2) New ROMP polymer synthesis
3) Sperm-Egg Interactions in Mammalian Fertilization
4) Function of the Matrix Metalloprotease Hemopexin Domain in Cell Migration
